Dear All,

A massive earthquake and followed Tsunami occurred Friday 11 March, off the Pacific coast of the northeastern part of the Japanese main land (Tohoku Region), where Sendai City is locating.  We all committee members as well as Japanese peoples are highly appreciating to the warm encouragements and kind supports from all over the world.

At present, Tohoku Area/Sendai City and Tohoku University including Katahira Campus (ISFM2011 venue) are just at the revival stage. Regarding to the ISFM2011 symposium this August, we currently hope to hold on schedule and will do our best; However, some processes may be delayed. The detailed informations will be announced you at any time.
